SLP Spotlight: Mackenzie Greer
Mackenzie is a certified member of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and a licensed speech-language pathologist in the state of Arizona. Mackenzie received a B.S. from Northern Arizona University (NAU) in Speech Language Sciences and Technology and a M.S. in Clinical Speech-Language Pathology from NAU as well.
Mackenzie has spent the last several years gaining experience treating children of all ages for a variety of speech and language disorders. She is particularly passionate about working with children with speech-sound disorders, language delays, and social communication disorders. Mackenzie has always enjoyed trying to create fun and individualized programs to meet the interests and needs of every child she has worked with. She has worked in a multi-disciplinary clinic with occupational therapists and physical therapists to learn more about how to support children’s goals outside of her field as well. She believes that there are always new opportunities to learn and build skills to continue to grow as a therapist. When Mackenzie isn’t working with her clients, she enjoys hiking, singing, drawing, escape rooms, and spending time with her husband and her cat, Oscar.
